Privacy
Until for iPhone. Updated 8 November 2026.
In short
Until does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The app never connects to the internet.
What stays on your phone
Until remembers one setting, the full-screen time (60 or 15 minutes), so it is the same the next time you open the app. It is saved on your iPhone only and is deleted with the app.
The timer itself is not saved. Quitting the app clears it.
Permissions
- Alarms and timers. Until asks to schedule an alarm so it can ring when your timer is done, also when the phone is locked or silenced. The alarm is scheduled on your phone by iOS.
- Notifications. Only if you decline alarms, Until asks to send a notification when the time is up instead.
- Live Activities. While a timer runs outside the app, the time left is shown in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen. This is drawn by iOS on your phone.
You can change these in the Settings app under Until at any time.
