Until
A timer you can see from across the room.
How it works
- Set a time
- Drag up anywhere. The higher you drag, the longer the time; a full screen is 60 minutes.
- Start
- Let go and tap Start. The color goes down as the time runs out.
- Pause, resume or stop
- Tap the time to pause. Tap Resume to go on, or Stop to clear.
- Change a running timer
- Hold until the phone buzzes, then drag.
- 15 minutes full screen
- On the empty screen, swipe left and choose 15 instead of 60.
Questions
- The timer didn't ring when the phone was locked
- Until needs permission for alarms. Open Settings, tap Until and turn on Alarms and Timers.
- Can I keep the screen on?
- The screen stays on by itself while Until is open and a timer runs.
- I closed the app and the alarm still rang
- Once you leave the app, the alarm is handed to iOS so it rings even if the app is closed. Stop it from the Lock Screen or the Dynamic Island.
